If you are new member to our club, then why not take advantage of your complimentary 30 minute tennis induction with our Head Coach. This is the perfect way to be introduced to tennis at the club, and Kyle will be able to point you in the direction of the best opportunities for you within the club.
We have a number of opportunities for players of all ages who enjoy playing some social, friendly, regular doubles. Wednesday 20:00-22:00 (winter) and 18:30-20:30 (summer) is our ever-popular weekly mix in, and is available to any adult rackets member at the club. Can’t make it during the week? We also have two socials every weekend. Social Saturdays 16:00-18:00 and Social Sundays 14:00-16:00.
Tuesday 13:30-16:00 and Friday 14:00-16:00 sees our vibrant veterans take to the courts for some doubles, often followed up with a drink and a chat in our serve café bar! This is open to anyone aged 45+!
Mondays 13:00-15:00 and Saturdays 14:00-16:00 we have some organised match practice, with some input from one of our experienced coaching team. All of these sessions can be booked via your club solutions account or by calling reception.
If you are lady looking to meet some new friends and have a regular match-up organised for you, then look no further than our Ladies Member rotas, which run every weekday morning.
During the winter season, we have our fantastic Matchplay events on Mondays and Wednesday (Ladies) and Tuesdays and Thursdays (Mens) from 11:30-13:30.
Each session 8 players split into 4 doubles pairs, and each play all the others in a competitive but friendly environment, before decamping to the serve café bar for a hot lunch, drink and a chat!
These sessions are ideal for those who are comfortable playing matches, but without winning being the be all and end all. For info about joining the Matchplay sessions, please contact Gavin.
Many of our members play regularly at scheduled times throughout the week and are very welcoming to new players joining their games. Kyle (Head Coach) or Gavin (Head of Rackets & Development) will happily put you in touch with these groups.
If some competitive Matchplay is what you love, then look no further than our thriving box leagues, which are a great way to get your organised competitive fix, alongside meeting fellow members. Our box leagues are ran by Esmaeil. Esmaeil will get you started at the next run of leagues, which is usually every six weeks
We have a number of men’s, ladies and mixed teams which compete in leagues both locally and county wide throughout the whole year! These teams also have practices throughout the year. Team captains are always very happy to welcome new recruits into the fold. Contact Tom or Kyle if you interested in joining a team!
Our annual club championship, is one of two flagship tournament opportunities for members at the club. This event (which is steeped in club history and tradition) runs across all age groups, and takes place throughout May and June, culminating in a memorable finals day, which sees the finals taking place at the end of the Ilkley Trophy week, with matches taking place on our 1400 seater stadium grass court. Entry information will be sent out early April.
Every July, we also run our award winning Ilkley Open Grade 3 event, which see’s 600+ entries descending on the club from across Europe! With events running from U8 through to 70+ it’s always great to see lots of club members entering and taking part, and often winning.

Total Tone
20 minutes HIIT, 20 minutes strength, 20 minutes core. A total body workout class designed to cover all elements of fitness to provide great muscle tone and endurance.
Velocity
Small group training held in the fitness annex. The small group is led by one of our personal trainers through a series of exercises with aim of burning some series calories in 30mins. It will be using every tool at our disposal in the gym; Trx, slam balls, assault bikes, kettlebells to mention but a few. Due to the size of the group you will receive more tuition on correct form and hopefully have some fun at the same time!
Yoga
Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation. Its foundations are set deeply in ancient yogic tradition; Dru works on the Body, mind and spirit – improving strength and flexibility.
Hatha Yoga
A Yoga class described as ‘Hatha’ will typically involve a set of physical postures (yoga poses) and breathing techniques. These are practiced more slowly and with more static holds than a Vinyasa flow or Ashtanga class.
Relax and Restore Yoga:
Friday evening chill out session with meditation and relaxation techniques to fully unwind from your week. Bring a blanket and allow yourself to breathe and mind to settle into deep rest.
Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga that is practiced linking conscious breath with fluid movement. A number of yoga poses are linked together in a sequence which flows together a little bit like dance. The breath is controlled and directs the timing and co-ordination of the movement in flow.
