The fitness centre was part of a major redevelopment, and combines the latest fitness facilities within a pleasant, friendly environment. The centre overlooks the club’s 14 grass tennis courts with a scenic backdrop of Ilkley Moor.

State of the art equipment

The Fitness Centre has recently been refurbished with some of the newest, most up to date cardiovascular equipment (treadmills, rowers, bikes and CardioWaves). Whilst exercising you have a choice of watching 3 wall mounted TV screens or listening to 3 music stations. There is also a full range of resistance machines designed to accommodate every possible requirement. We also offer a dedicated free-weight and stretching area. The centre has spacious changing facilities, equipped with lockers and hairdryers for your convenience

As a member you will be looked after by a team of qualified fitness professionals who are dedicated to your every need. In addition to offering high standards of service and training, they pride themselves in maintaining a relaxed friendly environment where everybody feels confident when entering - something that has become a trademark of the fitness centre since it opened.

The fitness team can help you achieve your goals in a realistic fashion. They can discuss your training objectives or recommend and supervise a 1-2-1 exercise programme. The machines are very user friendly, however don’t be afraid to ask for help.

The Fitness Centre offers a wide range of group fitness classes including aerobics, body conditioning, bodypump, step, salsa and stretching and relaxation based classes.
Classes are open to members and non-members with some classes being free to Club members. You can buy a class pass card and pay for 12 of the same priced class for the price of 10.
