Your favorite fitness centre has added another string to its bow! We are proud to be one of the first UK sites to host the new Technogym Virtual Group Cycle offering.
Virtual spin is a very simple format. There will be an instructor on the television in the spin studio guiding you through a spin class and all you must do is try keep up (or sit there sipping a latte, what you do is your choice.) Music pumping, instructor motivating, fantastic workout!
The virtual classes will be held either side of our instructor led classes. This gives you the option to do spin classes day or night at whatever time suits you! Come down with a friend or on your own. If you’ve never done a spin class then you can have a go without feeling like you have to go full throttle and ease into it. If classes full of people are still not for you, then this is the solution.
Spinning is a great cardiovascular workout and unlike outdoor cardio you don’t have to avoid cars, random dogs or punctures. Low impact, high calorie expenditure to combat post lockdown pant issues… what’s not to love?
This facility will be open to all fitness members & rackets members starting today, Monday 14th June.
Simply turn up at the time of the class you want to do and put the pedal to the metal.

The club would also like to send our fondest farewell to our amazing Yoga instructor Angie Bagnall and wish her luck on her big house move. Angie completed so many classes for us during lockdown via Zoom and will be sorely missed by everyone at the club. Thank you for all your hard work in keeping people moving Angie!
We would also like to welcome Sandy Staley to the club. Sandy has been practicing Pilates and Yoga for over 20 years, and 10 years ago gained her certification to teach Pilates (Matwork, Reformer & other studio equipment) from the Polestar Pilates teacher training academy in Bishopsgate, London. She is also qualified to teach the Garuda Method following her training in St John’s Wood (a dynamic, holistic blend of Yoga and Pilates focusing on flow and rhythm).
